At the advanced level Casinero's should begin to understand the rhythm of the music.
Dancing "contra tiempo" or "a tiempo" should be based on the "feel" of the music and should
become a natural part of dancing either in a Rueda or partner dancing. Partner dancing
becomes the main focus for the ruedista during the advanced level. The Casinero is eager
to show what he/she has learned in beginning and intermediate levels. Dancing in the rueda
at this level recalls a lot from the intermediate level as these move/turns have become
second nature regardless of the speed of the music. However, advanced moves/turns will
become longer but are made simple by combining simple combinations together. This level
also challenges the Casinero by changing between "contra tiempo" and "a tiempo" while
dancing in the rueda. And yes it's true, some of the moves/turns will be hard, no doubt about
it!
During the advanced level let your own style show, you deserve it!
Calls required for intermediate class: Candado Tiempo Espana, Ponme Cahua's, Enrosca,
Pa'copelia, Trompo, Juana la Cubana and Mirame pero no me tocas.
